We are on the hunt for a Lower North Island Account Manager to drive our growth, build exceptional customer relationships, and champion our brand across Aotearoa in DHS Purlins, Hibond and Flatdeck. As the Lower North Island Account Manager, you will have the flexibility to work from home or work from one of our roofing offices in Hamilton or Tauranga. Your area will cover Bombay to Wellington, and you will be the face of Dimond Structural, from managing existing clients to scouting new opportunities, you’ll ensure that our service remains top-notch, and our business continues to grow with the ability to provide an immediate impact on the business by increasing market share and volume of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on sales and margin targets while boosting customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive growth by identifying new markets, reigniting relationships with past clients, and securing new revenue streams.
  • Create and implement sales strategies aligned with Dimond’s goals.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Ensure customer needs are met with best-in-class service and solutions.
  • Attend trade Shows and deliver educational presentations to educational facilities.
  • Work seamlessly with the Dimond Structural Sales and Specification Team including at industry events.
  • Develop and deliver CPD Presentations to Architects & Structural Engineers.
  • Ability to travel within the region with overnight stays every 2-3 weeks depending on business requirements.

  • Proven track record in sales and specification, coupled with strong business acumen.
  • Experience in the steel, manufacturing or building materials industry (preferred).
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.
  • Financial savvy with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Enthusiastic and results-oriented with a positive attitude.
