About the role :
Join our Gisborne team, working Monday to Friday 8-5pm and every other Saturday from 9-12pm only. The position is permanent full-time.

We have an exciting role, where you’ll join a stable branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a close-knit, experienced team within a large organisation.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a varied role working across the whole branch that will see you involved in sales on the Trade Counter, Inwards Goods, Cycle Counting Stock, Stocking and Rotating stock on shelves, Customer Deliveries, Loading /Unloading and whatever else is necessary within the branch.

About you :

• Plumbing background will be ideal but not essential
• Proven experience in a customer service and/or retail sales environment
• Physically fit as some heavy lifting will be required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and willingness to work within a team.
• Ability to build rapport with people from all ages and backgrounds
• Motivated, self-driven and able to work independently
• A strong focus on performance and dedication to support our valued customers
• Competent computer and numeracy skills
• Proactive and able to think on your feet and under pressure
• A Full New Zealand drivers’ licence is essential, and a forklift licence is advantageous.
