He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for an exceptional F&B Supervisor to lead our team at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin. This is a Permanent Full Time rostered across Monday to Sunday. Here is a chance to demonstrate your leadership skills by delivering impeccable service at various functions: Conferences, Gala Dinners, Concerts and large Sporting Events.

You will be confident in leading staff and ensuring our guests enjoy every occasion. This is a role where you can demonstrate your ability in preparation, attention to detail and delivery of great hospitality.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Supervising the performance of a small team of on-site Catering Assistants
  • Ensuring that all tasks associated with food service, beverage services and general customer service are performed with due regard for all Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Managing deliveries arriving which would include lifting heavy packages

If you're our ideal candidate, you will:

  • Be hard working
  • Have a current Duty Managers Licence or be prepared to obtain one.
  • Have immaculate personal presentation and high standards of cleanliness
  • Be a team player but also able to work autonomously
  • Have a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude
  • Ideally already have at least 2 years' previous supervisory experience
  • Hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to be train for one
