Job Description

The Company

  • An exciting opportunity has opened for a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join a leading consultancy in Christchurch.
  • Truly multi-disciplinary, this fast growing delivery specialist their talented team provide project management, project planning, resource management planning, civil engineering and surveying from offices in Auckland and Christchurch.
  • They are currently involved with some of the largest development projects in New Zealand, in a variety of fields including irrigation, tourism, health, commercial, residential and infrastructure, for corporate, government and private clients.
  • Due to a strong pipeline of current and future work they have a key vacancy for a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join their Christchurch surveying team.


The Role

  • You will manage and work together with the team to deliver subdivisions, multi-unit and comprehensive developments ranging from two to 500 lots
  • Curate subdivision design and civil engineering design
  • Ensure accurate Cadastral Survey Datasets and other survey deliverables are completed on time
  • Supervise and mentor the next generation of surveying professionals


About You

  • An experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyor
  • Competent with Landonline and 12D software
  • An excellent written and oral communicator
  • Able to work independently and organise work programmes
  • Proficient with field work techniques and quality assurance processes for GPS and Total Station
  • Have an understanding of the RMA, planning processes and other relevant legislation
