The Company
Leading professional consultancy providing start-to-end solutions for housing, land development, subdivision and infrastructure projects.

They are a well-established consultancy with highly qualified staff, state of the art technologies and procedures, and a great team working environment.

Their team of 90+ staff is located across four offices in Auckland and Northland and has a proud reputation for delivering high quality services and outcomes.

The Role
They are looking for a dynamic planner to lead the planning services provided from their Whangarei office. If you are skilled in land development and want to progress your planning career up to a senior level in a consultancy that is truly focused on better land development solutions this is the job for you.

Their Northland offices are in Whangarei Town Centre. From there you will be the lead planner in project managing planning inputs for some of Northlands most significant projects. The position covers a range of resource consents work, with a particular focus on residential land development and medium density-built development of all scales. Depending on your interests and skills there is also the opportunity to be involved in planning policy and plan change projects and giving evidence at hearings.

About You
You will need to be a great communicator and you will have a high level of analytical and report writing skills.

The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree in planning or project management and 3+ years New Zealand planning or land development experience.

You will also have:

Hours: Preferred hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (flexibility an option).
