The Role

  • End to end design, project management and delivery of complex projects.
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Project management various engineering projects and assist with quoting civil works
  • You will have responsibility for client projects and client management, you will provide leadership and technical skills to aid with day-to-day operational requirements of the engineering department
  • Preparation of engineering design plans and liaising with Council to obtain design approvals as well as preparing documents for tenders
  • Provide technical input to projects during resource consent, through concept design to detailed design
  • Procurement, contract administration and construction monitoring including client and contractor interaction


About You

  • 3 years + New Zealand experience
  • Good communication skills and excellent attitude
  • Hold an Engineering Degree and/or relevant qualifications such as a Washington Accord Degree
  • Understand civil construction and construction methods
  • Hold the technical skills to undertake engineering design and calculations and interpret test results for engineering materials
  • Be highly competent with the use of 12D or Civil 3D engineering software and design packages
  • Strong team player and willing to contribute to the professional development of team members
  • A high level of technical competence in infrastructure work and able to manage multiple projects
  • Have a practical approach to solving problems and have analytical skills
  • Be highly motivated, detail-focused, and able to work on your own
  • Have an appetite for learning
