Ara Whiwhi Mahi | The Opportunity
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will contribute to the delivery of the Internal Assurance Programme whilst providing quality service to our customers and stakeholders to ensure enterprise-wide assurance for IR.

In this varied specialist role, you will:

  • Assist with direction of the IA work programme ensuring the successful completion of assurance projects across the organisation.
  • Ensure IA practices and processes are relevant, reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
  • Ensure key stakeholders have the confidence and assurance that processes are being managed appropriately.
  • Contribute to the team to develop their technical capability to deliver on the IA outcomes for the organisation.
  • Provide advice to stakeholders on an adhoc basis, often at speed and with limited information.
  • Please note, the internal role title is Domain Specialist (L2).

You will need to have experience in:

  • Delivering an internal audit work programme, providing the full range of assurance services at a senior level across a large complex organisation.
  • Establishing strong working relationships and effectively working with key stakeholders to ensure team credibility is maintained.
  • Analysing complex issues to draw conclusions and suggest appropriate solutions.
  • Delivering outcomes within timeframes and have the agility to support work reprioritisation.
  • Utilising your broader view of the organisation and the technical practice management of the IA team to maintain compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors Global Internal Audit Standards.
