Mo te tūranga | About the Role:
We have an opening for a Senior Manager to lead our Office of Technology team. The Office of Technology partners with Technology and senior leaders throughout ASB to oversee what's happening, and produce reports across governance, risk, compliance, and milestones to help keep our board, executive team and regulators in the know.
As a Senior Manager, you'll report to our GM Technology Risk and Security and support collaboration with the EGM Technology & Transformation (T&T), T&T Senior Leadership and broader technology teams throughout ASB to help deliver reporting and governance initiatives, policy, delivery, and technology strategy.
You'll be all about the IT Governance process. From Board and Executive reporting to management level committees, from technology investment governance to process improvement across the division, no day will be the same.

This position plays a significant role in supporting ASB's T&T governance. To succeed, you will lean into your stakeholder management skills. You will lead a team of three to collaborate across ASB T&T to connect the dots and support sound risk-based outcomes. You're a strong communicator and can distil information quickly and prioritise accordingly. It will be key that you are able to think conceptually and analytically as you support key initiatives and reporting. As a starter for success, we'd love some of the following skills and experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly report writing.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to connect information across T&T to help leadership to make informed decisions.
- Analytical thinking, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with absolute confidence.
- Experience within the Financial Services or Technology industry.
