Te tūranga | The role:

You will successfully develop and manage business relationships within the professional business sector to include large industry organisations and representative agencies, with a particular focus on the legal and accounting industries.

Working within the wider Business Banking team, you'll keep the frontline team current with market trends and product information, and support with growth prospects or customer meetings where you can add value. With your finger on the pulse and as the key contact person for internal and external stakeholders in your assigned industries, this role will include developing opportunities and solutions specific to attract these to ASB, growing our market share.

This is a 15 month opportunity based at ASB's North Wharf, and has responsibility for one direct report.

Key to this role is the ability to think strategically and communicate clearly, whilst effectively managing ambiguity. Your banking background will include proven experience in the Finance industry ideally in portfolio, transformation, or relationship roles.

You will have the proven ability to establish and grow your networks and be confident presenting in front of large groups. With responsibility for enhancing ASB's presence and market share, your background in building and managing stakeholder relationships will be essential to success in this role, as will your expertise applying business acumen and judgement that demonstrates a clear understanding of how value is created for the businesses.
