Te tūranga | The role

Responsible for both inbound calls and outbound calls where lending support is required within the Direct Home Lending channel to support customers with lending enquiries, fixed term rates, and other lending administration support. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will ensure you are engaging and effectively communicating with your stakeholders and customers. This position offers a unique opportunity for a great career path that would suit someone with a minimum CAA level 1 framework looking to pursue a career in lending.

Ō pūkenga | About you:

We are looking for someone with an understanding of ASB lending credit policies and procedures and is proficient in the use of Onyx and Teller. Your attention to detail is critical, as is your ability to prioritise your time effectively. In return, this role will provide real scope to enhance your career and develop key networks within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Due to the nature of Direct Channel operations, this role is rostered shifts offering 40 hours of work per week (i.e., 8-hour shifts per day, working 5 days a week on a 6 day rotational roster)

What you will bring

Minimum of CAA L1, and working towards CAA L2+
A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and establishing and maintaining long lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
Benefit but not required, lending experience and existing knowledge of home lending products.
An ability to identify the bigger picture and anticipate customers' financial needs.
