As a member of ASB's Financial Crime Operations team you will help protect ASB and it's customers from the impact of Financial Crime. You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand from organised crime, modern slavery, extreme right-wing groups, and other activity which places New Zealand at risk.

Mo te tūranga | About the Role:

As an FCO Capability Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and expertise of our Financial Crime Operations (FCO) team. You will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that align with ASB's business objectives and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for capability, competency, and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) queries.
  • Deliver training and coaching for FCO associates, analysts, and managers.
  • Manage FCO training administration and maintain learning frameworks.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a broad range of learning solutions, ensuring efficient and compliant outcomes.
  • Facilitate engaging and impactful in-person training and coaching sessions.
  • Ensure all training aligns with quality assurance frameworks and best practices.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and opportunities.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to improve FCO learning solutions.


Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful?

  • Experience in Financial Crime Operations (CDD, ECDD, TM, SAR, etc.) or related fields.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
  • High-level digital literacy, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications).
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Experience in instructional design and learning solution development is an advantage.
