About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a Supervisor within our team based in our Wiri depot. You will be leading a highly skilled team of Line Mechanics, Electricians and other field crew providing services including construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification working on the Streetlighting and Distribution networks across the Auckland region.

You will have proven ability to monitor performance, motivate your team to deliver within timeframes and budgets with a focus on quality and safety.

Demonstrating natural leadership skills, you will enjoy coaching team members and become a valued mentor to assist your people in their career development and to deliver results for our customers.



Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

As a proven leader, highly experienced in the Streetlighting or Distribution sector, you will quickly gain the respect of your crews and credibility with our clients. Your will be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate technical information and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

It is essential that you are an experienced Electrician or equivalent with knowledge of the power industry and can offer:

  • Relevant Electrical Registration and current Practicing licence
  • A minimum of five years’ experience including high voltage and overhead work with experience leading crews.
  • Be highly organised, and able to plan works.
  • A strong commitment to safety including sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe Practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work
