Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We have 2 exciting opportunities for a Chapter Lead to join our high-performing team. As a senior member of the team, you will be providing both technical and people leadership within our Development Chapter one focused on Pega and the other more varied development. You will be driving best practices, high-quality standards, and controls compliance through intelligent automation solutions, maximizing value for ASB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing both technical and people leadership for your team within our Development Chapter within Customer Tribe.
- Growing the high-performing culture and customer obsession within the team.
- Driving best practice, high-quality standards, and controls compliance through intelligent automation solutions and how ASB can maximize value through their use.
- Developing strong skilled teams that meet the capabilities and ASB's needs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with other platforms and tribes, enabling effective people performance feedback loops and monitoring.
- Gaining and maintaining an understanding of current and future technology and technical integration.
- Maximizing value for ASB through continuous improvement, innovation, ways of working, and opportunities for experimentation that will benefit the teams and/or ASB.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, enabling you to challenge ways of working and thinking to drive improvements for ASB.

You will ideally be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the group whilst managing the tactical day-to-day aspects of leading the business unit. Your proven coaching experience and people development skills, along with performance management capabilities, will be crucial.

Preferred Background:
- Capable and experienced in AI and emerging technologies, such as Robotic Automation, BPM, OCR, or machine learning capabilities, development lifecycles.
- Ideally, you will have certifications in both development and architecture.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer programming languages and applications.
- 12+ years' experience in software.
- Innovative thinking and analytical skills.
- An ability to develop, document, and present simple business cases.
- Successful leadership of end-to-end process transformation and business improvement projects.
