A well-known, Whanganui-based equipment services company is on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Office Manager to join their small, friendly team during a key period of transition.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, temporary position for up to six months, covering a maternity leave, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
You’ll be the go-to person in the office—coordinating admin, supporting operations, and helping keep the business running smoothly. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, is confident working independently, and brings a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day office administration and support tasks
- Invoicing and timesheet collation
- Liaising with internal staff and external suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- General computer-based tasks, including working across Microsoft Office systems
About You:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Confident using Microsoft Office systems
- Organised, proactive, and detail-focused
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Must be available for a two-week handover before 30 May; immediate start available for the right candidate.
