- Role
- Supporting this busy MD of Asia Pacific in an Executive Assistant capacity, you will need to bring your superior business support skills. There is lots of travel for this MD across Asia Pacific and he will be visiting locations that will need your ability to research for him.
Yes, you will be providing high level assistance, but you will also need to bring a curiosity to learn the business to help this MD be the successful leader he is.
Your duties will consist of:
- Organising extensive and complex travel requirements
- Preparing his upcoming calendar schedule, managing a very demanding diary
- Screen and prioritise incoming communications, responding where needed
- Be 2 steps ahead to ensure business goals are achieved
- Overarching summary preparation of documentation & complex presentations
- Collaborate across the executive leadership team, build strong relationships
- Ensure the MD can do what he does best – help transform and shape the future business in Asia-Pacific
- Events and meeting arrangement
You
Ideally you would have supported at a senior leadership level previously and this is where you thrive. This is a 40 hour a week job but there will be some days where you may need to start later to work later due to the destinations of the MD’s travel. You will need to have that flexibility available.
If you enjoy the challenge of understanding the workings of a company, this will align very well to this role.
Technically you are very strong within the Microsoft suite and using various platforms
Having good intuition, learning agility, confidence and self-awareness will stand you in good stead and ensure your success.
Be ready to set up the style of working from day 1, this will be a new role for you both
Ultimately this role is about having the energy and enthusiasm to help this MD push this already outstanding business through the Asia Pacific. There are exciting times ahead!
