Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the Role
The role provides stable, enterprise-scalable data platform services for all WNZL data consumers. The role helps to enable a broader programme of work providing data for the bank and aligning with WNZL data strategy. It also incorporates after hours production support on a rostered basis for a number of applications with customer-facing outcomes.

• Maintain Informatica Platforms (On prem & Cloud) for regular fixes, configuration, vulnerabilities fix and troubleshooting of Informatica platforms
• Offer an Informatica platform services (both onprem & cloud) that enables teams to connect and respond, ensuring our data is transparent, reliable and compliant - that allow us to leverage governed, trusted, self-service access.
• Manage Informatica Platforms (onprem and cloud) for regular hot fixes, configuration, vulnerabilities fix and troubleshooting of Informatica platform
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define best practices.
• Develop and implement ETL processes using Informatica platforms & ensuring that changes in upstream systems are managed and handled.
• Monitor ETL jobs, provide troubleshooting and diagnostic support. Incident, problem, and service outage management
• Identify and mitigate risk across the Informatica platforms.
• Undertake developer and production support / On-call support on a rotating roster.
• Support and mentor junior engineers as required.

• Relevant degree preferred
• 3+ years of data Governance experience - data catalogs, lineage, glossary & quality
• Informatica suite of products - Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality, IDMC)
• Good experience in SQL & Unix
• Strong knowledge in Data Lineage
• Understanding of database fundamentals
• CICD and Jira experience
• Scripting and automation experience
• Platform and data analytics experience
• Working with different file formats and databases
