Reach Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment to efficiently move and stack pallets, products, and materials.
  • Utilize reach capabilities to access high shelves and racks in warehouses and distribution centers.
  • Safely load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas according to established procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on reach trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks to meet operational deadlines.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operating reach trucks or similar material handling equipment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to maneuver reach trucks in tight spaces and at various heights with precision and control.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting inventory lists and work orders.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
  • Valid reach truck certification and forklift license.
