Lumino St Heliers provides extensive oral health services including preventive, restorative & cosmetic services using 3D CAD/CAM through health professionals at the forefront of the dental field.

Job Description
Lumino Saint Heliers is looking for a Dental Assistant who is enthusiastic and passionate about patient care to join the team!

We place the utmost priority on the patient experience! Providing the community with an array of dental care and experiences. Our vision is that dental treatment should be as pleasant an experience as possible. Our goal is to provide the best possible dental care to our patients by utilising comfortable, state-of-the-art treatment methods.

  • General chairside assistance
  • Provide sterilization & infection control solutions, maintain stock control
  • Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
  • Patient care from entry to the surgery, recall management
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical team; assist in all aspects of general dentistry
  • Assist with reception, sterilization & administration tasks as required


This is a full-time role, a minimum 36.5 hours per week.

  • Monday: 8.00am - 3.00pm
  • Tuesday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
  • Wednesday: 8.00am - 3.00pm
  • Thursday: 7.30am - 4.30pm
  • Friday: 8.00am - 3.00pm

Qualifications

  • Dental assistant experience preferred
  • NZDA certification highly regarded
  • Exceptional professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of punctuality & reliability
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
