Job Description

If you are a Registered Nurse wishing to supplement your income by picking up night or weekday shifts, Geneva may have a perfect opportunity for you.

Due to increased demand from our clients, we are currently looking for Registered Nurses to cover regular shifts at Aged Care facilities throughout Auckland – enabling you to choose where and when you work.

About the Role

Are you passionate about providing the best level of care for the elderly? Are you reliable, committed and able to fit into a variety of healthcare settings? Are you available to work one or more shifts per week (or more if you choose to)? Then we definitely want to talk to you.

Typical Duties of a Geneva Registered Nurse

  • Leadership of other aged care workers within the facility as needed
  • Assessing health needs of residents and providing standard RN clinical care
  • Assisting with general cares as they may arise including meals, mobility, toileting
  • Relationship building and the overall assuring of improved health outcomes


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in New Zealand as a Registered Nurse
  • Aged care/Rest Home experience is preferred
  • Must have a valid APC and Registration with the NZ Nursing council
  • Overseas Registered Nurses with a valid APC can be considered
  • CAP nurses (new graduates) with Valid APC can be considered for AM and PM shifts only
  • Training in MediMap and 1Chart is advantageous
