Job Description

Geneva Staffing are looking for Midwives ready to take the next step in their career and work in a highly regarded specialist birthing unit.

Full time, fixed term role (ASAP start) – Flexible on contract start/end date

Experience in Birthing Suite or Post Natal care required.

About your opportunity
Registered Midwives deliver safe compassionate midwifery care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve best practice patient outcomes. Midwives prioritise women centred care to women, families and newborns through effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of midwifery care.

The Maternity Services department consists of 3 birth suites, 45 postnatal beds providing the best start in life to mothers and their babies.

About You

We are seeking Registered Midwives with an interest in further developing skills to deliver excellent patient care.

Along with your passion for delivering a high standard of nursing care and an interest in further developing your skills, you will also have:

  • Current Registration with Midwifery Council and/or Registration with NCNZ
  • Commitment to patient focus and patient outcomes
  • Ability to work independently as well as working with others to deliver outcomes
  • Experience in a maternity unit/relevant field
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience to women, their partners/families and their babies to have positive pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience
  • Providing a high standard of nursing/midwifery care
