As a Collections Specialist, you’ll be a vital part of operations, working within a team to engage with customers to manage overdue accounts with professionalism and care. You’ll be tasked with developing effective recovery strategies and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage taliored outreach to clients with outstanding balances, primarily over the phone and through other communication channels
  • Conduct sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism to establish positive solutions
  • Negotiate payment arrangements tailored to meet both client needs and business objectives
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions and agreements within the company’s database
  • Consistently meet and exceed performance targets in a fast-paced, high-volume environment


You'll have....

  • 3+ years of experience in financial collections, within New Zealand
  • A strong communicator with demonstrated success in high-volume collections roles
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for managing delicate financial conversations over the phone and in person
  • High level of accuracy and speed in typing and data entry
  • Solutions-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving in complex situations
  • Able to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism
