Job Description

We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team with our client based in NewLynn. Due to the intimate nature of the cares, we are looking for someone who have experience working with children. Our client is unable to take care of themselves and hence need support with their daily routines promoting their independence. Due to the complexity of the cares, commitment to the shifts is vital.

This is a role where no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable in a medical home environment
  • Confident to handle cares independently
  • Must have a full NZ driving licence
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • Subject to clean police clearance check
  • Able to commit to the shifts
  • Child specific First Aid
  • Healthcare qualification of Level 3 or above


Tasks:

  • Personal cares
  • Overnight cares
  • Night Feeds
  • Monitor Oxygen Flow
  • Seizure Management


*Flexibility required

Shifts:

Wake over , Monday to Sunday -10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
*With the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available
