We are seeking a visionary General Manager of Parts and Accessories to lead this parts and accessories division, driving growth, operational excellence, and team development.


About the client and location
As one of Australia's largest automotive dealership groups, career progression opportunities come up often as the case with this vacancy. Due to an internal promotion, this role of General Manager- Parts & Accessories is now available.


The role
This is a leadership role managing and oversee of 3 dealerships covering 15 brands and a budding aftermarket 4x4 accessories range.

The current team is very strong, has the right people in the right positions, providing excellent support for the General Manager of parts to work on the business more often than in it.

Duties and accountabilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, streamlined logistics, and efficient supply chain management
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage a dedicated team, promoting a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation
  • Oversee budgets, pricing strategies, and financial performance, ensuring adherence to company targets
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals for the parts and accessories division


Requirements for the role

  • Proven automotive experience in a leadership role
  • Inventory management experience
  • The ability to motivate and lead and team
  • The ability to drive profitability in the business
  • DMS Experience and proficiency - Pentana experience would be highly advantageous
