Our Infrastructure Advisory team is a high performing, market leading team who have a lot of fun and work with amazing clients. We are looking to hire to support our continued growth. Our team partner with some of New Zealand's largest Infrastructure businesses, central government and local government on strategic, economic, financial, and long-term, large-scale infrastructure projects where we are dedicated to delivering outcomes for communities that are fit for the future.

Our work provides strategic, transactional and lead advisory services in relation to our clients’ major investments, including strategy and planning, funding and financing, governance and management, business cases, structuring, procurement, transactions, corporate finance and M&A work.

We are looking for individuals with high energy, a desire to learn and grow and a keen interest in how infrastructure can impact the lives of New Zealanders. Our work spans a range of skills and areas. We are specifically looking for candidates with strong financial, analytical, corporate finance and/or PPP experience. As a Senior Analyst in our Infrastructure team you will:

  • Perform and lead the team to undertake commercial and financial analysis on infrastructure projects, including private sector and commercial public sector roles
  • Provide high quality commercial advice to our clients
  • Deliver high quality written and presentation materials to clients
  • Lead project teams and take on responsibility for the coaching and development of staff across the infrastructure team
  • Building relationships and your brand in the market, as well as finding new business opportunities and supporting the development and delivery of client proposals and pitches
  • Playing a strategic role in helping our team achieve its growth objectives
  • Developing knowledge through appropriate research, keeping current with firm’s technical and industry guidance, training and interactions with internal PwC specialists
  • Be part of our leaders in our highly skilled team


Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

  • A relevant Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years experience with major infrastructure projects in an advisory, strategy, policy or delivery role. This can be in a Government/public sector, Big 4, investment banking, or construction sector environment.
  • A track record of undertaking insightful quantitative analysis (including financial modeling)
  • A strong work ethic, self-motivated, proactive and confident approach to your work
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Be an analytical and critical thinker, able to break down complex problems and establish effective solutions in a collaborative way
  • Have demonstrated success creating bespoke solutions and adapting within an ever changing environment.
