Awa Nursery, located in Waimuaku, has over 9 Hectares of plant production space and is key to our growth plans across our wider Kings Plant Barn business.
Wholesaling direct to the public and other businesses, we have been servicing gardeners, garden maintenance crews and the landscape industry for over 20 years and more recently supporting internal supply chain to our Kings Plant Barn retail stores.
We are currently looking for a Full Time Truck & Tractor Driver to join our Nursery team at Awa Nursery.
About the role:
- Dispatch of plants to customers
- Tractor and Forklift operations, including unloading delivery trucks and moving stock around nursery, in accordance with nursery plan
- Assist with plant maintenance around nursery
- Assist with plant propagation
If you are:
- Motivated with a can-do attitude
- Excellent at communicating
- Full clean Class 2 Driver's Licence is essential
- Experienced driving Tractors and/or Forklifts
- A good level of fitness is required as this is a physical role that involves heavy lifting
- Horticultural knowledge or interested in plants is preferred
