Job Description

The team at New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person to join our courier delivery team on a fixed term agreement within the Takanini/Papakura Region of Auckland

This is a FIXED TERM position and is not a permanent position. This fixed term is for approximately a month with work available until Friday 30th May 2025.

  • Immediate Start available to the right candidate.
  • Full training provided, Up to 55 Hours per week, No Saturday work required.
  • Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour + 8% Holiday pay (Paid weekly)


You must have transportation to / from East Tamaki for this role as you will start and end your day at our Highbrook Branch.

Duties include:

  • Driving a company van to deliver and pickup freight within the Takanini/Papakura region
  • Assisting with urgent deliveries and pickup jobs as required


The ideal applicant will:

  • Must be able to confidently drive an automatic transmission van
  • Have a full, clean driver licence.
  • Have confident communication skills
  • Have geographic knowledge of the South Auckland region/suburbs
  • Have previous freight experience (not essential)
  • Be able to manage a diverse range of duties
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Be physically fit – Some heavy & repetitive lifting required (up to 25kg)
  • No prior injuries
  • Reliable, Punctual and Honest


Applicants will be subject to criminal check and pre-employment drug testing.
