About the Role:
As a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the company's existing data and reporting systems, currently built on SAP Business Objects. You'll collaborate closely with the CTO and the wider engineering team to architect a new, state-of-the-art reporting platform that will drive the company’s next wave of data capabilities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and refining the SAP Business Objects universe, ensuring it evolves to meet dynamic business requirements and data models.
- Ensuring the accuracy, performance, and availability of existing reports.
- Working with the CTO to envision and build a next-generation reporting platform.
Who You Are:
You are a seasoned data professional with a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. With proven experience in data engineering or a related field, especially in SAP Business Objects, you are adept at turning complex data into meaningful insights.
Your profile includes:
- Extensive experience in SQL (Oracle), with strong skills in writing, optimising, and troubleshooting complex queries.
- Deep expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, integrating multiple data sources seamlessly.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage both independent tasks and collaborative projects.
- A client-centric mindset, always focused on delivering solutions that solve real business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
