About the role

  • Reporting through to the incredible Head of Te Reo and Tikanga Māori
  • Foster the growth of Māori performing arts within the school
  • Focus on providing and delivering high-quality Kapa Haka
  • Lead and deliver tikanga Māori across the school
  • Develop the Kapa Haka Programme to ensure regular participation
  • Aim for qualification in regional and national competitions
  • Own the administrative running of the Kapa Haka program
  • Support the community & school events in Kaupapa Māori
