About the role:

We are looking for multiple Casual Kitchen Assistant to work at Blenheim Hospital, work on a as and when required basis, dependent on business needs. Shifts will be scheduled after midday.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Basic food preparation
  • Sandwich making
  • Providing superb customer service
  • Serving meals
  • Stock control
  • Assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • You will have good communication skills, be well presented, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167 and 168) (or be happy to train for one).
  • You will have superior customer service skills but
  • Most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
