Olive is busy restaurant located in the heart of Wellington's bustling restaurant street, Cuba St.

We have a casual part time position available that includes sat and Sunday brunch and this job is only over summer till end of Jan.

We are multi-facet restaurant opening at 10am for Wellington's finest coffee and a la carte breakfast, then onto a full a la carte lunch service and later in the day a fine dinner experience.

We require a barista who cares about hospitality and have a passion for great coffee and knows how to make it

We are an owner operated business with a great reputation as one of Wellington's best places to dine and understand that staff play a big part in keeping that reputation.

• You must be well presented, friendly and bubbly
• You must want to work well and want customers to have the best experience possible
• you must work well in a team
• you must have had coffee making experience and be able to confidently work brunch shifts serving 300 coffees.
• You must drink coffee and understand the difference between a good shot and a bad shot
• You must be able to run the machine alone when busy and be capable of trouble shooting any grinder problems of coffee shot issues that arise during service

MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND HOW TO ADJUST A GRINDER AND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN UNDER AND OVER POURED SHOT.
