The role | Te tūranga

At the heart of this role, you will get to analyse the financial performance of projects in our business, to support decision making and continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Support will be in the form of month end reporting, weekly reports, business cases, forecasts, and budgeting as well as ad hoc analysis and diagnostics.  

Our Financial Analysts: 

  • Review and provide analysis of month end project results. 
  • Provide monthly project reports, analysis, and interpretation of management information. 
  • Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and business initiative reporting. 
  • Provide insightful commentary on the consolidated forecasts, including key drivers of projected results, risks and opportunities.

  • Success in this role is for the team is to be truly seen by business partners as a "trusted advisor", providing proactive insights that support decision making.    
  • We will value your excellent communication skills, ability to influence management and build strong relationships across the business. 
  • Understand the big picture, whilst holding a strong eye for detail is important,  
  • Your MS Excel and business writing skills are at an advanced level
  • You are willing to take the initiative, make decisions and biased towards action
