About the role
You will thrive working at Waitakere Gardens Village. Flourishing in a supportive team environment you will take delight providing support to our residents to enable them to live an independent life.
This is a permanent part time role for 16 hours per week on Weekends. Saturdays - 7am to 3pm and Sundays 3pm to 11 pm.
Duties:
- First responder for any emergency requirements
- First aid support when required
- Respond calmly to emergency call bells.
- Support the resident and village with daily activities when required
- Cover Reception desk and provide general admin support to the village.
- Keep common areas neat and tidy
Skills and Experience Required:
- Current First Aid Certificate preferred although training is provided.
- Safe use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Patience and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our residents.
- Energetic, reliable and a friendly customer service approach
- Sole charge (with support available)- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Previous experience in administration/customer service. Familiar with MS Office suite.
