Job Summary:

Our client are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join their team of talented Fabricators across light aluminium. This is a full-time permanent role responsible for the set up and operation of CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Emmegi CNC machine's according to the production schedules.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate parts.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth production process


About You

  • 3 years' experience working in the Aluminium industry with CNC experience
  • Able to run and set up CNC machines - Emmegi preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
  • Holding a relevant trade qualification a plus
  • Must be willing to work in the Wairarapa region
