This is an extremely well paid opportunity - wage rates are payable up to the $40 per hour mark but will depend on your level of experience and training.

The role

  • This is a role for an experienced and/or qualified diesel mechanic
  • You will need to carry out mechanical repairs, general servicing and maintenance, and be able to fault find and diagnose technical issues on the equipment and vehicles
  • The role is primarily workshop based with a lesser content of field service work
  • The role is full time and is 40 hours per week with occasional overtime



The skills needed

  • Relevant automotive industry trade qualification
  • You will need previous experience performing servicing on repairs on the related vehicles and equipment including farm vehicles and tractors
  • Consideration may also be given to skilled technicians with experience on other equipment/vehicles who are looking to change to lighter equipment
  • Good technical and communication skills are needed along with previous relevant experience outlined
