Job Description
If you have a technical background and the ability to lead a team positively in a fast-moving environment, we may have the role for you! We are looking for a Gaming Technician Supervisor to join the SkyCity team!
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
The Gaming Technician Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily technical shift response to all gaming technical issues for Gaming Machines, Table Games and Cashiering. The role is 40 hours per week (full time) working across a 7 day a week rotating roster.
An ability to handle several tasks is required because as well as providing a proactive team response to fault identification and remedy you will also be developing staff engagement and coaching team members.
Mōu | About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have at least 5+ years’ experience in gaming technical roles
- Be a motivated self-starter with a passion for people and a good knowledge of trends in Casino Gaming technology
- Have previous supervisory or management experience within the Gaming / Technical services industry
- Have knowledge and understanding of compliance related requirements (e.g. Host Responsibility, AML, Health & Safety)
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Electronics or IT, with a focus on computer hardware (not required but advantageous)
