Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Transformation Manager to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for developing our transformation plans and outcomes, preparing materials for communication of transformation analyses to ELT, Board, and CBA, and managing and facilitating the progression of outcomes through senior stakeholders and forums.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop transformation plans and outcomes as well as being responsible for transformation monitoring and metrics.
- Prepare materials for communication of transformation analyses to stakeholders including ELT, Board, and CBA.
- Lead or support the GM Transformation & Delivery in delivering written and oral communications that engage key stakeholders, respond to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact.
- Engage with stakeholders to challenge and refine plans, and maintain oversight to ensure that prioritised initiatives are effectively executed and continuously monitored for progress and improvement.
- Continuously monitor and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and enhancement of processes

You will ideally be a strategic and innovative leader with a strong focus on transformation and performance management. Your ability to manage ambiguity, set priorities, and drive innovation will be crucial in this role.

Preferred Background:
- Seven or more years of experience in strategic development in consulting or professional services.
- Stakeholder management, networking, and influencing skills, especially at a senior level
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills, including writing papers for executives.
- Exceptional verbal, numerical, and critical reasoning skills to solve complex problems.
- Project management experience and ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, dynamic, and fast-paced environments.
- People management experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience in building effective relationships and working in a high-performing team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related strategy development experience. Financial services background would be an advantage.
