About the Role

In this newly created role of Operations and Customer Relationship Support (Cleaning), you’ll provide Operations Support, and Customer Relationship and Quality Assurance Management to the wider South Island. This role is all about ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll help schedule jobs, respond to client queries, support staff in the field, and keep everything running behind the scenes.

Although this position is based in Wanaka, there is paid travel required on an as and when basis including weekends with paid overnight accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate cleaning schedules and team logistics
• Communicate with clients to confirm bookings, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships
• Provide administration support – including updating job records, invoicing support, and reporting
• Help with staff onboarding, training coordination, and team communication
• Support the Operations Manager with process improvements and daily planning
• Jump in to assist with quality control and job inspections when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• A customer-first mindset and the ability to build rapport easily
• Great problem solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
• Confident with technology – booking systems, email, Excel, etc.
• Experience in operations, administration, accounting or customer service is a plus
• Experience working in a cleaning or facilities industry preferred
