Te Tūranga | The role:

A Design Practice that is into its fifth year of Agile transformation and is growing in size as demand across the business grows. Made up of Researchers, CX and UX experts, we are a collaborative team that cares deeply about our craft and building amazing experiences for our customers and our people.

We embrace flexible working and autonomy with a healthy blend of office based and remote working. Given the early stage of the practice's journey, there is a real opportunity to bring your influence and help pave the future direction of the practice. This might be identifying new methodologies and tools to experiment with, coaching peers, or exploring gaps in our knowledge to push the traditional boundaries of both banking and design.

Ō pūkenga | About you:

As a Senior UX Designer you will scope, lead and deliver end-to-end design projects within the Lend & Protect tribe where we look at home lending and insurance experiences, while coaching junior UX designers in the team to do the same. From ideation through to delivery, you will have the opportunity to reimagine how our customers and our people will interface with technology, helping set the vision for experience at ASB.

You will be able to balance being 'on the tools' with being a key contributor to driving consistency of craft for other UX practitioners. You will also contribute to a culture of design excellence within the Lend & Protect tribe itself.
