Bay Venues is looking for a Lead Operator to physically lead the completion of tasks allocated to the Baypark Facilities team. This is a hands on role , working at the coal face, ensuring the others working with you have direction and working efficiently. This role would:
- Work at an iconic venue
- Assist with ensuring all events and activities held at Baypark have a platform for success
- Lead at the front by example
About the Role:
- Physically lead staff in completion of allocated duties.
- Ensure that the venue is set up prior to customers arriving at the venue
- Operate key machinery required for setting up the events/activities/programmes ie forklift, EWP (or equivalent), etc.
- Lead yourself and staff with the safe operations of gear and equipment
- Undertake and lead in ensuring buildings and site are clean, safe and secure
- Lead staff with ground maintenance as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to retain professional demeanour and think clearly under pressure.
- High standard of personal presentation
