Job Description

Are you an experienced Stainless-Steel Fabricator seeking an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a modern workshop and on-site? Look no further! Our client is a leading provider of high-quality stainless steel fabrications, and they are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Stainless Steel Fabricator to join their dynamic team full-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Operate various machinery and tools.
  • Perform welding operations to fabricate stainless steel components.
  • Polish, grind, and finish stainless steel surfaces to achieve the desired aesthetic appearance.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to provide input on fabrication methods and material selection.
  • Work with aluminium fabrication, if applicable and advantageous to the role.
  • Travel to client sites to install fabricated stainless steel products and provide on-site support as needed.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work environment.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Stainless-Steel Fabricator, preferably in a similar workshop and on-site environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in aluminium fabrication is advantageous to the role.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for installations and on-site work.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus.
