Our client is a leading provider of high-quality stainless steel fabrications, and they are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Stainless Steel Fabricator to join their dynamic team full-time.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Operate various machinery and tools.
Perform welding operations to fabricate stainless steel components.
Polish, grind, and finish stainless steel surfaces to achieve the desired aesthetic appearance.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to provide input on fabrication methods and material selection.
Work with aluminium fabrication, if applicable and advantageous to the role.
Travel to client sites to install fabricated stainless steel products and provide on-site support as needed.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Stainless-Steel Fabricator, preferably in a similar workshop and on-site environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Experience in aluminium fabrication is advantageous to the role.
Ability to operate and maintain various fabrication tools and equipment.
Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to client sites for installations and on-site work.
Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus.
