Te Kaunihera o Tāmāki Makaurau/Auckland Council has opportunities for Junior Legal Executives to join our Property Team, and our Litigation & Disputes team, both roles report to their respective Associate General Counsel in Ngā Ratonga Ture/Legal Services.
As a Junior Legal Executive, you will provide high-quality legal services. This role will expose you to a variety of legal matters, supporting our experienced lawyers while building your own expertise.
You can expect to work on:
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Conducting legal research to support property and litigation cases.
• Assisting with due diligence, settlements, and property transactions.
• Landonline setting up of e-dealings (Property Team).
• Providing general administrative support to the legal team.
He kōrero mōu: About you
We are looking for two motivated individuals who are eager to develop their legal careers. To be successful you will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to multitask will feature high in your skillset.
We are specifically looking for:
• A current Legal Executive Diploma or willingness to work towards.
• Experience preparing legal documentation, undertaking research and preparing reports.
• Working knowledge of Landonline (for the Property Team).
• Adaptable team players who thrive in a collaborative environment.
