Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry based in Te Rapa, is looking for a talented and proactive Project Coordinator to join their innovative team. This is your chance to play a vital role in delivering high-quality construction projects across New Zealand.
The Role
As a Project Coordinator, you'll bring your organisation, attention to detail, and ideally your construction background to a role that truly makes an impact. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution, from tracking budgets and managing documentation to addressing project risks.
Your ability to coordinate, communicate, and solve problems will be crucial to keeping projects on time and within budget.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of projects.
- Monitor and Track Budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Ensure Project Compliance, from regulations to quality standards.
- Liaise with Stakeholders-clients, contractors, vendors-to ensure clear communication.
- Proactively Identify Risks and Issues, solving them before they affect the project timeline.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Experienced in a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficient in project documentation, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Strong problem-solving and lateral thinking skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Excellent communication skills
