Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fabricate medium sized weldments using MIG/MAG techniques and equipment consistently achieving the high quality the product requires
- Manufacture component parts using hydraulic and electrical bending, punching, drilling cutting and forming processes and equipment
- Grind, dress and clean weldments
- Participating in a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and reporting opportunities for improved safety, quality and efficiency
Skills Required:
- Previous Engineering and Mig welding experience required
- Excellent communication skills to engage and interact with other team members, team leaders and managers
- Experience within a production/manufacturing environment
- Experience and understanding of Lean manufacturing
- Strong team player
- Have the right to live and work in New Zealand
