Seeking an experienced Motorcycle Technician for motorcycle franchise dealership in Tauranga.



About the employer
The employer is a multifranchise motorcycle dealership specialising in road bikes, but also stocks motocross, ATV vehicles, and waverunners.

The role
The role entails general servicing and repair work. You will be preparing the latest motorcycles for sale, reconditioning good quality trade-ins, maintaining a broad base of customer owned motorcycles, as well as helping motorcyclists in general keep their pride and joy in tip top shape.

You will also help to supervise the team so you must be an experienced technician - prior supervisory experience would be an added bonus.

This is a 40 hour, Monday to Friday work week, with rostered Saturdays.


The background sought
You will need a relevant automotive qualification and have therefore completed a formal apprenticeship i.e., have at least 4 years of relevant experience servicing and repairing motorcycles or automotive vehicles.

Ideally you will be a fast learner with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills and have experience working for in a franchise workshop.

WOF certification and PDI authority would be an advantage.

You will work well to dealer standards, be a team player, have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as good attention to detail.

You should also have the ability to work to exacting standards and have detail and accuracy on the job and follow through (paperwork).


The challenge and rewards
The pay range is between $35 - $42 per hour and will depending on your skills and experience.
