Communications Strategic Plan Developer

The Louise Nicholas Trust (LNT) is currently seeking a volunteer who is experienced in developing strategic communication plans. LNT have a strong organisational vision, mission, and objectives and we require a communication strategy that highlights and aligns with our purpose. This role requires a good understanding of Not-For-Profit, Board communications, media management, both mainstream and social, the importance of brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications and Planning:
 Develop a comprehensive communication strategy to align with the organisation’s mission, goals, and values.
 Create an annual communication plan, including media, public relations, social media, and crisis communication strategies.
 Ensure that the communication plan has action plans for consistent messaging across all communication channels and materials.

Key Skills and Competencies:
 Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
 Proven experience in developing communication strategies.
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 Ability to contribute to a positive and supportive culture.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Relevant work experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or Marketing.
