We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our South Island team based in Christchurch.

In this role, you will collaborate with local and national businesses to grow their profiles, expand their customer bases, and drive sales through advertising solutions spanning our radio, publishing, and digital platforms.

The media sales landscape is fast-paced, exciting, and constantly evolving and we are looking for someone with sales experience to keep up with the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with local and national businesses to understand their advertising needs and objectives.
  • Develop tailored advertising solutions across radio, publishing, and digital platforms to meet customers' goals and maximise their ROI.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and production, to deliver exceptional service and results to customers.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies and approaches.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections.


ABOUT YOU:

  • Sales & account management experience is a must.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
