As a Credit Solutions Manager at ASB Bank, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Credit Solutions team to achieve operational excellence and deliver outstanding customer outcomes. You will be responsible for overseeing our collections processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ASB policies.

Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a high-performing team culture, where every member is empowered to contribute effectively and grow professionally.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of credit solutions professionals, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness in collections and credit solutions processes, ensuring that all procedures are documented, updated, and aligned with best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation, influencing strategic decisions and initiatives that impact credit solutions.
  • Champion excellent customer outcomes, particularly for those in vulnerable circumstances, by implementing and refining ASB's credit solutions strategy.
  • Effectively manage risk and compliance within the collections environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and ASB's risk management framework.
  • Develop and execute business plans for the credit solutions function, aligning with ASB's overall strategic objectives and vision.
  • Lead regulatory change initiatives within the credit solutions team, ensuring timely and compliant implementation.

  • Proven experience in leadership roles within collections or credit solutions, with a track record of developing and empowering teams.
  • Deep understanding of collections processes, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles within the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data insights to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organis
  • Emotional intelligence and a customer-centric approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and support.
