About the Role
As a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, you will provide client-focused psychological support and therapy across a range of services, including ACC, PHO, and Te Whatu Ora contracts. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting client assessments and developing intervention plans
  • Delivering therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT, or EMDR
  • Supporting clients in achieving positive, sustainable mental health outcomes
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with professional standards
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care


What You Need to Apply

  • Full registration with NZAC or the NZ Psychotherapists Board
  • Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
  • Experience delivering a range of therapeutic modalities
  • Willingness to register for the ACC Sensitive Claims Contract
  • Excellent communication & time management skills
  • Full NZ Driver’s Licence (for community-based roles)
