About the Role:
The Henderson Based Projects team is responsible for the planning and execution of small to large scale projects across Auckland for government agencies that provides a variety of projects.
To be successful in this role, you will have a varied background including civil works, construction and ideally landscaping along with being computer savvy, hitting the ground running completing end-to-end projects, including planning, coordination, contractor and staff management.
Being a "Jack of all Trades, you are a strong and professional communicator that is naturally organised and flexible as you will be pulled into different directions as your day/week and projects progress.
This is a hands-on leadership role! You will be working side by side with your team from in the field development along with overseeing multiple projects at any one time to meet the desired outcomes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Hands on supervising and monitoring workers with a diverse range of skills.
- Organise materials, machinery and staff
- High standard of health and safety
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure expectations are defined and understood by all parties
- Ensure all projects are closed out in accordance with established standards
- Multitask when several projects are running alongside each other
