About the Role
This is a permanent full time, 40 hours per week position to join our global team. At Comvita, we embrace flexible working, and this role will allow you to work from home and our offices in Paengaroa. Typically, our team members come to site a few times week for team collaboration and connection so for this reason would prefer applicants come from with a 45-minute commute to our offices in Paengaroa, BOP.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial efficiency. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will lead financial reporting, treasury management, and compliance while mentoring a high-performing finance team.
Some of the key competencies we are looking for are;
- Financial Reporting & Compliance – Ensure accurate financial statements and compliance with NZIFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Treasury & Cashflow Management – Oversee cashflow forecasting, treasury functions, and financial risk management.
- Audit & Compliance Leadership – Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to policies and reporting obligations
- Accounts Payable & Receivable – Manage AP & AR teams, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Listed Company & Shares – Support share register management, NZX disclosures, and investor relations.
- People Leadership – Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
What we would like from you
- Proven leadership in managing finance teams and driving process improvements.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, and compliance.
- Experience managing treasury, cashflow, and listed company reporting.
- Ability to communicate financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
